St. Constantine’s International School (SCIS) has been an integral part of Tanzania’s educational landscape since 1951. The Role
We are seeking a Mathematics Cover Teacher to join us on a short-term basis from January 2026. The teacher will deliver lessons across the secondary mathematics curriculum and help ensure students stay on track during this period.
This is a hands-on role that involves planning and teaching lessons, maintaining discipline, and supporting students both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

Teach across the full range of secondary mathematics classes

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons

Assess and mark work, providing constructive feedback

Keep clear records of student progress
-
Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
-
Contribute to school events, trips, and parents’ evenings

Undertake pastoral responsibilities such as being a form tutor

Stay up to date with curriculum developments
What We’re Looking For

A diploma or degree in a relevant subject (preferred)

At least 2 years of teaching experience (essential)

Familiarity with the Cambridge or English curriculum (desirable)

Strong communication and classroom management skills

A flexible and collaborative approach
