SECUREX Security and Alarm Company (T) Ltd has been operating in Tanzania since 2010. The company provides a full range of security solutions—armed and unarmed guarding, mobile patrols, and security equipment—to homes, businesses, government offices, and NGOs.
Role Purpose
You’ll support the Finance Department, Head of Accounts and management by handling day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do

Prepare and review payroll, financial statements and other reports for accuracy and compliance.

Register new employees with NSSF and prepare monthly TRA, NSSF, WCF and other statutory returns.

Maintain complete finance documentation; track creditors and debtors.

Calculate provisional tax and update as needed; maintain finance files and assist with audits.

Ensure a smooth month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.

Analyse company financial performance to inform business decisions.

Build and monitor budgets; prepare periodic management reports with variances.

Review monthly chargeable vs. non-chargeable time.

Update A/R and A/P; run ageing analyses for debtors and creditors.

Compute all applicable taxes, prepare and file returns, and ensure full compliance.

Process payments and submit all statutory returns on time.
What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3+ years of experience in finance and taxation.

Age: not more than 45 years.

Strong written and spoken English.

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); high IT knowledge is an added advantage.

Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
